Screen Enclosures in Palermo

Palermo is a Tuscan-style gated community on Hodges Boulevard in Jacksonville’s Intracoastal West corridor — one of Northeast Florida’s most refined and sought-after residential addresses. Adjacent to Glen Kernan Golf & Country Club and minutes from the beach, Mayo Clinic, and the St. Johns Town Center.

Kish Enclosures builds custom screen enclosures and pool cages for Palermo homeowners, designed to match the European architectural aesthetic that defines this community.

Pool screen enclosures and pool cages — Custom pool cages designed to complement Palermo’s architecture.

Patio and porch screen enclosures — Turn your patio into a true year-round outdoor room.

Screened lanais — One of the most popular outdoor upgrades in Florida.

Tear-downs and rebuilds — When an existing enclosure is storm-damaged or past its prime, we demo and rebuild to current Florida building codes.

Rescreening and screen repair — If your frame is sound but the mesh is worn or torn, we rescreen individual panels or the entire enclosure.

Motorized screens and louvered pergolas — We install motorized retractable screens and LouveRoof louvered pergola systems.

Paver installation — We install pavers alongside your screen enclosure so you can upgrade your entire outdoor space in one project.

Quarterly screen enclosure gutter cleaning & inspection — We offer this service for any enclosure in Palermo, regardless of who built it.

Palermo’s Tuscan-influenced architecture means that enclosure design needs to work harmoniously with stucco exteriors, tile rooflines, and the Mediterranean landscaping that defines the community’s aesthetic.

We also serve homeowners throughout the broader Duval County area — including Glen Kernan, Pablo Creek Reserve, Queens Harbour and surrounding communities.

Pricing varies by pool or patio size, roof style, screen type, and upgrades. Call (904) 805-4343 for a free on-site estimate.

Do I need a permit for a screen enclosure in Duval County?

Yes — all screen enclosure structures in Duval County require a building permit and must be engineered to Florida wind load requirements.

How long does installation take?

Most installations take one to three days on-site once permits are approved. The permitting process typically takes two to four weeks from submission.

How do you design a screen enclosure that fits Palermo’s Tuscan architectural style?

We select framing colors like bronze, tan, or custom-matched powder coat finishes that work with stucco exteriors and tile rooflines, and coordinate paver work alongside the enclosure build.
